First Aid at Work & Manual Handling – Driver CPC Training Course
Another of our modular sessions, with both sessions having awarding body status from Qualsafe awards and more importantly giving you seven hours DCPC accreditation.
The First Aid module is based on the Emergency First Aid at the Scene seven-hour course and has been designed to give candidates a taster of First Aid and also is used as a refresher for the full course which, under new HSE guidelines, states that First Aid should be refreshed every year to keep up with industry best practice.
The manual handling session takes a practical look at keeping safe whilst carrying out manual handling tasks at work and includes an in-depth look into some of the lesser-known regulations in our industry that could catch us out. We also look at the employees and the employer’s obligations when carrying out manual handling tasks.
NB: both of the above sessions can be delivered accredited or non-accredited to your requirements (certificates issued for First Aid and Manual Handling on completion of practical tasks and multiple choice exams).
